Best Bible App For Iphone
Humans are gods?
I wonder if I am correctly interpreting the Bible in the belief that we are all gods. There are few places in the Bible, I will link with the clearest, when the Bible seems to say that we are all gods. The best examples are found in Psalm 82:10 and John 10:34. (the following Links are for an application for the iPhone, but work in a normal web browser. This made me http://enetbible.com/net/joh10.htm http://enetbible.com/net/psa82.htm think for a moment, and we look very God in our abilities. We can communicate across continents and even oceans. We can make the night look like day. We have begun to be able to control the weather. Even with the wings, we can find a way to fly. No other animals are able to make more use of simple tools for simple tasks. Feel free to quote Scripture, with locations in the text of the Bible or other so you can verify and explain your point of view.
A definition of God is "a beloved, admired or influential person." It can be used in many ways as there are any number of people and things that can be call gods. The ancient Egyptians worshiped their rulers as gods. Other religions worship idols and leaders, too, even now. Some people are so impressive inspired by their heroes (sports, music players,) that they are gods. Money is a god to many people. Anything that becomes the most important thing in your life, affecting most or worship (worship) is a god. Satan is the god of this world, according to the Bible, however, once he was one of the children of Almighty God. Anyone over others and demanding loyalty is a god. The writings in the Psalms and John does not use this term in a good way or courtesy. Jesus even said that one should not even be called "good" because only the Father, Almighty God is good. So I was not saying that the men were true gods. 1 Corinthians 8:5, 6 makes it easier to understand. "For though there are those who are called" gods ", either in heaven or on earth, as there are many gods and many lords "is not really for us one God the Father, from whom all things, and we for him, and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things, and we by him. "With the technology we have to be able to do many things that people I lived 500 years they were "gods". But if we begin to think of ourselves as such, we are doing exactly what Satan did. Be seen in the same level or even above the true God, our heavenly Father. That would put us far from our Creator who, like Satan, there will be no forgiveness or return. Not good at all.
