Bible Genesis 3
Bible, Genesis 2:3, how it is translated proberly?
I started again in my scripture reading today, and have come through a discrepancy. In the Northwest Territories reading Genesis 2:3 "And God proceeded to bless the seventh day and made holy, good company there, he has been resting .. "However, the NIV Bible says," … because in it He rested .. "This seems to verse 2 and I differnent meanings wondering if anyone knows what is the correct way to translate this verse or do they really mean the same thing. Thanks
To know exactly what it says, would to go to the original Hebrew. God created the 7th day of rest for man and showed us the example. On the 7th is Saturday and it was important enough for God to be the 4th commandment. D1
