Christian Bible Studies For Couples
The problems of the Church?
We (my husband and I and our daughter) have been attending a church since January last year. A very small church, 150 adults, average weekly total. We tried several times to participate in different areas of ministry. Repeatedly, we have received no response. A From December gave up and decided to try a new church. Today I received a call from the pastor, asking where we were. When I said that we are seeking of a new church. He said they were no longer welcome to attend our small group Bible Study was held in a house with another young couple. My question is this …. Think that this is appropriate or Christians, as to prohibit someone from a Bible study group because they no longer attend his church?
That is not Christian. I do not think Jesus want anyone to be driven from a church where a deliberate attempt is made to meet and praise and honor on behalf of his Father. I would say that you are making a wise decision finding a new church is ready to welcome and embrace you and others.
