Subject Bible Search
I mean no disrespect, and I'm not even qualified to make this assessment, but what is your opinion?
Is it possible that bad made in the Bible? One of the things I've read in the Old Testament does not sit well with me. I need serious perspectives on this issue as I am looking for and I would avoid being cheated. Please help.
I will be honest with you and say that I have wondered the same myself. The New Testament is better, but 2 Timothy said that women are not to braid hair … this and the Old Testament simply does not sit with me in everything I started the search. This is my advice. Consider the human nature when reading the Bible. Read about the men who wrote the books and pay particular attention to the things they wrote. Then, consider what was happening in secular history during the same time (this is important). See today's life to see if you can find signs of a higher power and pray, if you believe in communication prayer. I will tell you that the Bible is shit, or tell you which is the word of God infalliable. You say you are searching and want to avoid being deceived, so this should be your personal journey. I can only advise on where to start.
