John 13 Bible

in 2nd Kings Chapter 2, first verse, we read that Elijah was taken up in a whirlwind into heaven, but in John?
Chapter 3 of John in the 13th verse Jesus says that no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down fro heaven… How can this be so or is this truly a contradiction in the bible? Am I misinterpreting something?
hath ascended = hath gone up (of himself). It does not say: “hath been taken up by God,” as Enoch and Elijah. But Christ had “gone up” when the Evangelist wrote these words.
John 13:3 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He That came down from heaven, even the Son of man Which is in heaven.
